Mission Statement:

We, the Novi Middle School Counseling Department, will nurture our school community by advocating for and promoting a healthy learning environment.  We will do this to ensure that all students develop the knowledge, skills and character necessary to achieve their highest potential.

The guidance counselor is a unique and integral member of the educational community. As a team, counselors, teachers and administrators share the responsibility to assist young people in preparing for the challenges of adult life. The counselor's primary commitment is to help the student realize his/her potential academically, personally and socially.
