The 2020-2021 Washington D.C. Trip

Due to uncertainties regarding Covid-19 and what Fall 2020 will look like, we have decided to move the 8th Grade Washington D.C. Trip to March 2021.  The trip will now depart the morning of Tuesday, March 9, 2021, and will return the evening of Friday, March 12, 2021.  You do NOT need to take any action at this time.  Your child’s registration for November 2020 will simply be moved to March 2021.

If you would like to register your child for the trip, you can still do that by contacting Worldstrides (800-468-5899).  Our trip ID# is 182810.

Full Refund Program:  If you did not sign up for the Full Refund Program when you originally registered, you may contact Worldstrides (800-468-5899) before October 1 to purchase it at the cost of $125.  By registering for the FRP, you will receive a full refund, minus the $125 FRP fee to Worldstrides and a $10 administrative fee to the school.

Without the FRP, all deadlines for cancellations will be with respect to March 9, 2021.  If the trip in March is cancelled by Worldstrides or the school due to the pandemic, and you have not purchased the FRP, then you will be refunded all money except $149, a $10 administrative fee to the school, and any fees or late charges you have incurred at that point.

The trip for the 2021-2022 school year will return to our annual November travel time  (11/2-5, 2021).

If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Fenchel at kenneth.fenchel@novik2.org
